Your Prescription

Before ordering your glasses you will need to enter your prescription details in the boxes provided (opposite).

If your prescription contains information NOT listed opposite, please contact us for further advice.

When entering values note that they may be PLUS (+) or MINUS (-). Plus may indicated by a + before the number, minus by a - or (more often) by a bar or line over the number. It is IMPORTANT that you correctly indicate + or -.

If your prescription shows it, please add the addition value for each eye.

Pupillary Distance:

Pupillary Distance (PD) is a measure of the distance between your pupils. It should be on your prescription. If not, you may safely use the average values (65 for males, 63 for females). Simply type in the appropriate number.

UV400:

UV400 Ultra-Violet inhibitor is included as standard with strong tints. It may be added to other tints as an optional coating.

Thin Lenses:

Higher index values produce thinner, therefore lighter, lenses. Strong prescriptions may benefit from a high index lens.

Transition lenses:

Transition lenses darken or lighten dependant upon the amount of sunlight.
